Visitors are very welcome.
For the duration of the pandemic we will continue to meet virtually for both meetings and stitch-ins. Updates will be provided periodically on the website.
Guild meetings are monthly; September through June. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month starting at 6:30pm. There is a short business meeting, followed by Show and Tell, and our Program. The Program may be a lesson in a technique, a speaker, or a small project.
We meet at the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History at 1747 Summer Street, off the pay parking lot via the side entrance, first room on the right. If you park in the lot you are required to pay for parking. The Museum is on the 9A bus route with a stop just down from the front entrance. The Museum is also a short walk from both Robie Street and Spring Garden Road.
We hold two regular “stitch-ins” each month – one on a weekday (Friday) and one on a Saturday. Please refer to our Events & Activities for exact dates.
“Stitch-ins” provide an extended and relaxed time to get together and share ideas. We bring finished pieces to show off, newly purchased books or magazines and anything stitchers will likely find interesting. Each member could be working on a different piece. It’s an opportunity to get help with a personal project or with one of our guild projects.
